The Montgomery County Department of Economic Development
With special thanks and recognition to our technology transfer partner,
the Federal Laboratory Consortium. The FLC promotes and facilitates
technical cooperation between the federal laboratories, large and small
businesses, academia, state and local governments, and federal agencies
by providing direct services to member laboratories and agencies in
support of their technology transfer efforts.
Technology Transfer (T2) Opportunities
Montgomery County Department of Economic Development's mission is
to maximize the opportunity for our local businesses to identify
opportunities in technology transfer, access information and educational
resources in T2, and to provide the tools to commercialize their products
and technologies
FedTechNet
Montgomery County DED, with the help of the FLC Mid-Atlantic Region,
created a networking group of technology transfer officers located in
federal labs in Montgomery County. The group, FedTechNet, has
provided the catalyst for the development of the Welcome Center. The
following labs are among the participants of this network.
